The Pumpkin Patch
The other night, we decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch. We used to go to a more popular {read: crowded} patch but in the past year or so decided to start visiting our local one.
Varner’s Farm is the perfect farm for younger children. They aren’t ever crowded and things are a little more low key. They sell fresh apple cider and the smells coming from the general store are just divine! {Yes, I just said that. Because it’s the truth.} As they say on their website, they try to keep things simple and old fashioned. And they definitely succeed in that.
They may not be the big, popular farm but they have everything my kids would ever want!
They have a hay maze…
…pick your own apples…
…a two-acre corn maze…
…tons of pumpkins to chose from…
..including the cutest pumpkins in the whole patch.
Looks like such a fun farm!!
I need to get to a pumpkin patch before it's too late this year. Those are great pictures!!
Love these pictures – so cute! Looks like it was a great pumpkin patch farm — reminds me of my days back up in Vermont..apple picking, cider..mmm!!
Beautiful photos! I think the pumpkin patch visit is my fave thing about fall.
