I’m not gonna give you an fluff on this one, guys. You know how much I love my coffee. I can’t live without it. And I am always down for trying new kinds.

When I was in Los Angeles a few months ago, I was introduced to the most fabulous dessert in the world. It’s simple. It’s easy. And coffee is one of the main ingredients. Yup, I am talking about Affogato!

I mean how in the world had I gone 34 years without having an affogato! And now that I’ve had it, I am experimenting with different kinds. Being the only one who has a love for coffee in the house means that I have to make single serve everything. Single serve coffee. Single serve desserts made with coffee.

This is where the Hamilton Beach® FlexBrew® Single-Serve Coffeemakers comes in! I can make a single cup of coffee in the morning or when making myself an affogato.

Tiramisu Affogato

To make your own Tiramisu Affogato, you will need:

  • 3/4 cup chilled heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 9 Italian crisp ladyfingers, coarsely crumbled
  • 12oz brewed Brooklyn Bean Expresso coffee
  • bittersweet chocolate

Beat cream with sugar until it just holds stiff peaks.

Place two scoops of ice cream in the bottom of the glass and top with ladyfingers.

Pour hot coffee on top and dollop with whipped cream.

Grate chocolate on top.

Ingredients
