Our summer has officially started which means we are on the go…a lot. I honestly thought we would have a nice relaxing summer but the calendar is quickly filling up and we have places to be people! All of the running around means the boys are hungry come lunchtime. We do the traditional PB&J, mac and cheese, and nuggets but that can get boring really fast. However, I have two little men who aren’t adventurous when it comes to trying new things. So I have to get creative.
We visited Sam’s Club for the first time this weekend to see if we could come up with some new lunch and snack ideas. There were plenty to choose from. Of course, there was lots of sampling involved.
Can you blame them? There were a lot of yummy things to try!
After they ate their way through the store and loaded up the cart, we had a good variety of lunch and snack items including Chicken Fries! Tyson Fully Cooked Chicken Fries are an easy meal solution for my hungry and very busy kids! They are portable and will be perfect to take with us when start hitting the local library’s picnic store times next month.
The boys couldn’t wait to try the Chicken Fries for lunch. I was a little worried that they would take one look at them and give them the nix. But I was wrong!
They were a hit! Ethan gobbled up 9 chicken fries in one sitting. I can’t tell you the last time that child ate that well!
Tyson Chicken Fries are definitely going on the lunch rotation.
I’ll have to try these out with Lennox – i bet she will love them too and it looks like an easy dinner !
So glad they enjoyed them — it’s nice having something other than sandwiches sometimes. 🙂
