My kids are enjoying healthy post-game snacks as part of a sponsored series with GoGo squeeZ and Socialstars. #GoGosqueeZSquad
This Saturday was opening day for baseball which means we will be living at the baseball fields until June. It seems like someone has something each day and we are always on the go. As much as I may complain about it, I really do love it and the boys love being active.
With baseball season comes team parent duty! I am in charge of raffle tickets, uniforms, and, more importantly, team post-game snack! The post-game snack is usually the highlight of the game, especially for the little kids. It’s a reward for a job well done.
In the past, we’ve given out our fair share of “junk” but as the kids get older, I have realized how important it is for them to have a healthy snack. The older kids are out there really playing hard and they need to replenish and recharge.
To help the parents on the team, I put together a list of kid-friendly but healthy post-game snacks!
The Ultimate List of Post-Game Snacks
- Apple Slices
- Freeze Pops
- GoGo squeeZ Apple Sauce
- GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ
- Celery Sticks (with or without peanut butter)
- Trail Mix – check about allergies first!
- Granola bars
- Sliced Peppers
I know you saw GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ on the list and have a few questions for me. Trust me, I asked the same ones. But our trusted friends at GoGo squeeZ have figured out a yogurt so cool, it doesn’t have to be cold.
Yogurt That Does Not Need To Be Refrigerated?
Yes, you can store GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ at room temperature until opened (pop your pouch in the fridge after opening). When you’re ready to GoGo, enjoy YogurtZ as is, pop in the fridge or turn it into Fro-Go-Yo. The choice is yours!
And This Is Real Yogurt?
You bet! GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ follows the same basic process as refrigerated yogurt, adding an additional heating step so you can store at room temperature for whenever and wherever you want.
