#UnstoppableMoms Year in Review

motherhood sponsored post

Over the past few months, I’ve shared some tips and thoughts on being #UnstoppableMoms, like how we never get a break or how some of my favorite moms stay sane during the holidays. And while we all have our great Unstoppable Mom days. They are days when we don’t.

There are many, many days when I question my ability to be a mom. There are the mom fails. The mom guilt. The days when you just don’t feel good enough. Or that you are doing all that you can do.

Like the time I tried to take the boys to a Mother/Son Dinner and the night ended with Benjamin licking the walls of a Target bathroom.

Or the countless times I have had to lock myself in the bathroom to just get a 4 second break before I snapped.

Or the times I wondered if I was doing this whole things wrong.

Or the times I had to put my own health aside because my boy was sick and needed me.

MOMS DON'T GET A SICK DAY

But then there those little moments that prove to you, you are good enough. You are doing things right. And you are a good mom.

Like when your little one climbs up to your lap and tells you that he loves you.

Or you see our oldest reading his brother a bedtime story.

Or when they proclaim everything to be the best day ever or the best thing ever.

Those moments far outweigh the bad times but, yet, those bad moments are the ones that stick out most prominent in my mind. That kind of thinking has to stop. I need to start remembering those times where I was Unstoppable. Where I was, to be honest, a bad ass mom.

I got this. I can rock this. Because I’m Unstoppable!

  1. My favorite saying is the days are long but the years are short. It’s so true. Except that the days aren’t long, they are sometimes endless!

  2. Moms are extraordinary that is for sure! Sometimes I think, man, it would be easier if it was slower but ya know what, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Nice work momma!!
