I just got back from BlogHer ’13 and my cupboards are bare! I am not kidding you. There is nothing in this house! Thankfully, I was asked to try out the new Velveeta Skillet Singles so it gave me an excuse to head on over to WalMart and stock up on some basics.
I had one hurdle when attempting to stock up on these new dishes. Where to find them? If you are looking for the Velveeta Skillet Singles on your next shopping trip, you can find them in the heat-to-eat aisle with the other macaroni and cheese products. You’re welcome! 🙂 Make sure you check your coupons to see if you have the free standing insert coupon that was available on July 18, 2013 for $1 off one Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Singles.
After we loaded up on our essentials, we got back home just in time for lunch. The boys wanted a simple PB&J but I wanted something a little more. When you attend BlogHer, you sometimes forget to eat while you are away for those 4 days and when you come home you are ravished and want to eat everything in site.
I decided there was no time like the present to try the Velveeta Skillet Singles. I picked out the Chicken Alfredo Skillet as my first to try. It’s one of my favorite meals and is somewhat of a comfort meal to me.
Can I just tell you how easy it is to make this? Pop it in the microwave for a minute and then add in the Liquid Gold cheese packet. It’s that easy! I made mine during a commercial break while I was catching up on the reality TV I missed while I was away!
I will be stocked up the Skillet Singles not only for me but for my husband. I don’t know how many times he has told me that he has forgotten to eat lunch or didn’t have time to eat lunch at work.
He has commented how they really satisfy his mid-day hunger. He thanked me for stocking him with such tasty and quick meal for those busy days at the office. He no longer has an excuse for missing lunch!
Looks yummy! I need some more fast and easy lunch ideas! Thanks!
Looks like something my daughter would like!
Looks delicious! I haven’t tried that flavor yet…it’s on my list now! SO awesome that you went to Blogher!
