VTech Innotab 2 Baby
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of VTech. I was provided this product while attending the #BTBBabyPalooza to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
If you know us by now, you know that we are a huge technology family! The kids love tablets {and I would like mine back, thank you very much!} so I was very excited when I got the chance to review the new InnoTab 2 Baby by VTech. The InnoTab 2 Baby is designed with a growing child in mind, and has special content geared towards even the youngest learners.
The tablet comes with a soft, removable gel bumper that helps protect the InnoTab 2 Baby from drops and tumbles. This is definitely what we need in this house as tablets are always being dropped on the floor {and down the steps, oops!}.
What’s nice about the VTech InnoTab 2 Baby is that you can have multiple accounts. The customizable welcome screen allows you to add their photos {taken with the InnoTab!} and create a recorded greeting with your child’s voice.
One of the big apps that I love on the VTech InnoTab 2 Baby is the baby sign language program, Baby Signs. Since Ben was evaluated for his speech delay, it was recommended to keep signing with him to help him build his expressive language. This program is the world’s leader in sign language for hearing babies and has already helped Ben learn some new signs.
When Ben’s not playing with the VTech InnoTab 2 Baby, you can find Ethan taking pictures with the rotating camera. He hasn’t figured out the video part of it yet, but he loves snapping away {go figure}!
A big huge plus for me with this tablet is no WiFi. Hear me out. No buying apps without you knowing and you control the content on the tablet! If you want to add more apps, you simply use the VTech Learning Lodge Navigator from your computer to download the apps to the tablet. The InnoTab 2 Baby grows with your child so don’t let the Baby part fool you!
The VTech InnoTab 2 Baby learning app tablet (MSRP: $89.99) is currently available in stores. For more information on VTech’s product lines, follow them on Facebook and Twitter!
