What Really Grinds My Gears

Do you know someone who always thinks that everything is about them? They hear people whispering, and it must be about them! They hear you on the phone and gosh darn, you must be talking about them. I don’t get it. What a heavy load to carry when you think the world is all about you.

I’ve really been thinking about this lately since this seems to be occuring daily. Everytime I leave the room, this person has to run off and find out what I was saying and if I was takling about them.

**NEWFLASH: It’s not always about you. Get over yourself. You are not that special.**

And the more I think about it, the more I start wonder if they just might have a guilty conscience, not a case of narcissism. Maybe they are paranoid about people talking about them, because they are the ones shooting their mouth off.

Now that I’ve got this rant out, I, too, am getting over it. It’s just not worth it.

And, that’s what really grinds my gears.
